How To Use Stainless Steel Carbon Steel Metal Fiber Laser Cutting Machine?

Following are the steps to use stainless steel carbon steel metal fiber laser cutting machine

1) Feed your metal plate to the work table of the fiber metal laser cutting machine.When your metal plate is heavy,you can buy one loader to help you to load it to the machine table.Please see the picture of the feeder.

2). Adjust the cutting parameters in Cypcut software. For material with different thickness,you need to adjust different parameters.Normally, we already have many parameters well installed in the machine software. You can add your own parameters when it is needed. Cypcut is a good controller, you can learn how to use it within 2 days.

3). Choose a suitable nozzle for the material you are going to cut. Normally,the thicker the metal sheet,the bigger nozzle you need. You need to use single nozzle to cut stainless steel and double nozzle to cut carbon steel. Before moving the machine, please make sure the lens and protect mirrors are clean enough for cutting.

4). Adjust the focus of the metal fiber laser cutting machine until it can cut perfectly. This needs some time. This is also an important step before you operate the machine and get a perfect cutting.

5).Check whether the laser is going on the exact middle of the nozzle. Only the laser goes on the exact middle, you can get a perfect cutting.

6).Calibrate the laser head of the metal laser cutter. After you do this step, the laser head is fixed and exact to the place you want to cut.

7).Choose a suitable cutting gas for the material you need to cut. Normally,you need to use Nitrogen for cutting stainless steel,aluminum,copper,galvanized sheet and so on. You need oxygen or compressed air for cutting carbon steel,mild steel and other materials like iron. If you need to cut with compressed air, you need to buy air compressor, which is optional.

8).Cut a piece of metal plate that has the thickness within the cutting ability of your machine and try whether the machine can cut well. You can also take a look at the edge to see whether it let you satisfy or not. If it is the effect you want, keep the parameter to the software and do a new cutting. If not, please adjust the parameters until it let you satisfy.

9). You can move the laser head to the place you want it to cut and do the real cutting. Remember to check the gas again before cutting.

10).Please keep one person that can always stay with the machine while the machine is cutting. If you want to go to wash room, please stop the machine and then go or let your workmate to help you.
