How to choose a multi function laser engraving and cutting machine?

1. Working table

Normally,a multi-function co2 laser has 2 tables. It is honeycomb table and blade table.

You can use the 1st table for engraving,cutting leather,fabric and cloth.  You can use the 2nd table for cutting wood,acrylic and other hard materials.

Is that mean you can use the machine to cut all the materials? The answer is no. For normal glasses,ceramic,stone,marble, we can only engrave on the surface. However, the machine can not cut them. But co2 laser cutter can both cut and engrave on acrylic,wood,leather,paper,MDF and so on. Because these materials has enough organic materials inside. By the way,the thickness of material has better not too thick. For example,acrylic over 25mm is a little harder for a co2 laser engraving cutting machine. In a word, some materials can be cut,some material can be engraved. Therefore,you need to choose suitable working table.

Big laser powers like 150W,280W are more suitable for laser cutting. While 40W,50W,60W,80W are more suitable for laser engraving. 100W is the most suitable power for both engraving and cutting. By the way,100W cuts acrylic up to 25mm and wood up to 12mm.

3. Working area
