There are 3 kinds of work tables for co2 laser cutter engrave machine:

1) Aluminum table,also called strip table.

   Strip table is made of aluminum and it cuts harder materials like wood,acrylic,MDF. Many pieces join it.When you do not need the table,you can move it from the machine by your hands easily. 

After you move it, you can use the 2nd table. This only takes 2 minutes.

2) Honeycomb table

     Honeycomb table cuts soft materials like leather,cloth,fabrics and so on.Some engrave machine also use this table. Customer can put the material on top of the table and engrave on the surface.

3) Plate table

    Plate table mainly do engraving, you can put your material on the top, no one can fall down into the machine body. But plate table can not be used for cutting.

How to choose between the 3?

1.You need to check all the materials you need to cut or engrave and tell that to the machine manufacturer. Only in this way, the manufacturer can help you to choose the suitable engrave machine or cut machine. When you contact XD laser,please tell us all the materials you need to engrave or cut, that will be helpful.

2. Please confirm you need to engrave on round materials or not. Round materials needs rotary attachment,which need to put on a up and down table. In this case, you had better choose a cutting machine with honeycomb table. If you also want to cut acrylic and wood, your machine also needs strip table.

3. Now, very few people choose plate table because it can only do engraving.
