Metal sheet laser cutting machine is widely used in many industries, such as advertising,sheet metal,kitchen ware,automotive,lifts,environment protection equipment,metal furniture,Aerospace,Electronic appliances,precision accessories,ship,hardware and tools,decoration and so on. Some factories use laser cutting engraving machine according to the rules, some may not clear about the rules and just use it with their own habits. It may have harm to your body if you do not use it properly. So, we write this blog to help you familiar with the laser cutting machine parts and the rule of using it. 1) Put your material to machine working table. If your metal sheet is heavy,you can use this loader to help you.

4) After you choose the suitable nozzle, check the nozzle center and confirm the laser will go to the exact center of the nozzle. Only by this, you can get perfect cutting.
5) Open the laser source
6) Adjust the parameters in the software according to the thickness of your material. You can adjust the speed,the ways the laser should go and so on.
7) Adjust the distance between the laser head and material.If you have autoadjust laser head, you do not need adjust this by hands.
8) Calibrate the laser cutting head. After this, the laser head will know from which place it can begin the cutting.
9) You need the help of gas to help cutting metal sheet. Check the gas and confirm it can go smoothly from the bottle to the laser head.
10) Test cutting the material. If it is ok, means your parameters are ok. If not ok, do some adjustment in the software.
11) Move the laser head to the place you want it to cut. Normally you move it to a corner. In this case, it can cut the whole piece.
12) You should not leave the machine when the machine is working. In case you need to go to the wash room, please let your workmate to take care of your machine or stop the machine. In case you need to stop the machine with seeing a problem, you can press the “emergency” and stop the machine at once.
13) When you are cutting the 1st whole piece, you can stop the machine at the time you want and see whether the cutting suits the effect you want. If not, you can do some changing and go on the cutting.
14) The gas need to be always enough during the cutting. If there is not enough gas inside the bottle, please change a new bottle for it. It is because laser cutting machine cutting metal needs a certain gas pressure.
15) Before you operate the machine, please get training from the machine manufacturer. If you have any question,please ask the manufacturer directly. Do not pretend you know everything. By the way, you should be clear about every part of the machine, not only software, but also hardware parts like servo motors,guide rails and so on. A person that is not well trained should not touch or use the laser machine.
16) When you want to look at the laser head or keep your eyes very near to the laser head, please wear eye glasses. But you had better not move your eyes to very very near of the laser head,especially during the cutting.
17) The environment of the laser cutting machine should be clean,tidy and no oils. Please clean the protect mirror before using it. This help you to get a great cutting effect and use the machine longer.
18) When you change a new piece of sheet metal to the machine, please check the parameters again. If your machine is one table machine,you need to stop the machine before changing. The machine already have some parameters inside the software, you can use it directly. Sometimes,you also need to do your own parameters. If your machine has exchange table,you can prepare a new sheet during the machine is cutting.
