CNC fiber laser cutters, available in varying power outputs such as 2000W, 3000W, and 4000W, are indispensable in modern manufacturing for their precision and efficiency. However, to harness their full potential, it's crucial to follow a systematic start-up and shutdown procedure. This blog will guide you through the essential steps to safely and effectively operate these high-powered machines.
1. Total power supply. Start of voltage stabilized power supply (check the three-phase voltage balance)
2. Open the main valve of cutting gas (check whether N2 and O2 are leaking)
3. Turn on the water cooler. Check whether the water temperature and water pressure are normal (the laser water temperature is 26 ℃, the temperature of the fiber and cutting head is real-time (26-30 ℃))
4. Start the main power supply of the electric cabinet, start the power supply of the machine tool (blue key, on to start) and turn on the computer host
5. Laser power on (white button, on to start)
6. The operating software system starts and the machine returns to zero. Place the corresponding material to calibrate the cutter head sensor and test the follow-up (the machine must return to zero when starting every day)
7. The software is open to the right lower laser power supply and the shutter point, adjust the focus position and follow-up nozzle according to the corresponding materials.
8. Manually test the gas N2 and O2 to confirm whether the gas pressure is normal and whether the solenoid valve works normally according to the air blowing test.
9. Verify that the cutting procedure is in accordance with the material and the selection of gas is correct.
10. In the (automatic interface), the machining program is called and the cutting parameters are loaded.
11. Start the program, red light border. Check if the cutting procedure is in the sheet range.
12. Start the program and start the machining. During the process of processing, pay attention to the cutting condition at any time. If there is any collision or path hole, it is necessary to pause immediately. After troubleshooting, continue cutting.
1. Remove the waste material from the machine tool, turn off the main switch of the air valve, press the blow key to release the gas in the equipment.
2. Turn off the optical switch, cut off the laser power supply, and move the X and Y axes of the machine tool to the middle.
3. Turn off the software and computer, turn off the main power switch, and then disconnect the water cooler and the voltage regulator.
Equipment maintenance process
Daily maintenance details:
1. Check the water level of the chiller and require that the water level be above the level 2 / 3 green mark.
2. Check whether the power supply line is damaged or not.
3. Check whether the switch buttons are flexible.
4. Check the protective lens before starting up and keep it clean.
5. Check the cutting nozzle before lighting, keep it clean and free of blockage.
6. Check that the laser focus is in the center of the cutting nozzle.
7. Clean the ash layer and waste of the machine table before work.
8. If the ambient temperature is lower than 0 ℃, please add antifreeze or drain the water from the laser water cooler to prevent water freezing from damaging the machine.
Weekly maintenance details:
1. Grease at least once a week, and keep the lubricating oil on duty.
2. Remove dust cover and check to ensure oil injection is in place.
3. Clean the cutting residue on the rack and keep the rack moving smoothly.
4. Clean the cooling system heat dissipation filter screen and keep the cooling system working well.
Monthly maintenance details:
1. Clean the ash layer and air conditioning residue of the main control cabinet, and keep the cooling of the control cabinet working normally.
2. Clean water tank and replace cooling water (deionized distilled water will be changed once in June and purified water will be changed once in February)
Filter element is replaced once in June.
Following a meticulous start-up and shutdown procedure is vital for the longevity and performance of your CNC fiber laser cutter. By adhering to these steps, you can minimize the risk of machine damage, ensure operator safety, and maintain the high quality of your cutting projects.
For personalized guidance on operating your specific 2000W, 3000W, or 4000W CNC fiber laser cutter, consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer's technical support. Remember, a well-maintained machine is a productive machine. Stay vigilant and proactive in your operational practices to get the best out of your laser cutting technology.
