Laser cutting machines are widely used in various production. At present, there are four common cutting machines on the market: 

CO2 cutting machine, YAG laser cutting machine, optical fiber laser cutting machine and UV laser cutting machine.

Different types of lasers are used, and there are great differences in industrial applications.

1. CO2 laser cutting equipment is mostly used for non-metallic cutting, such as leather, cloth, acrylic plate, etc; YAG laser cutting machine is suitable for all kinds of metal materials (including rare metals), electroplating materials, coating materials, spraying materials, plastic, rubber, resin, ceramic marking and sheet cutting; Optical fiber laser cutting machine is mostly used for cutting metal plates and pipes, with finer cutting lines, faster cutting speed, higher work efficiency and better processing quality; UV mechanism cutting machine adopts UV laser, cold light source, high machining position accuracy and small cutting gap. It is widely used in PCB / FPC circuit board cutting.

2. These four types of laser cutting machines have one thing in common. They all operate for a long time in production, which will produce a certain amount of heat, and can not achieve effective cooling by themselves. Therefore, industrial chillers need to be configured to cool the equipment and control the operating temperature within an appropriate range.

3. Different chillers are selected according to the type and power of the laser. CO2 laser cutting machine and YAG laser cutting machine can be cooled by CW series chiller with temperature control accuracy of ± 0.3, ± 0.5 and ± 1 ℃. For example, 100W CO2 laser cutting machine, special cw-5000 laser chiller can be selected; The cw-6200 laser water chiller is selected for the 200W YAG laser cutting machine. The fiber laser cutting machine is equipped with cwfl series chiller according to the laser power, such as 1500W cutting machine and special cwfl-1500 chiller. UV cutting machine has strict requirements for temperature control accuracy. The temperature control accuracy of special cwup series chiller is ± 0.1 ℃, which can meet the cooling of 5w-30w laser.

Only when the type selection of industrial chiller is done well can we achieve effective cooling and improve the efficiency and service life of laser equipment.
